Reference Number : 1680190 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-02-03 Université du Québec à Montréal (SPPI) is inviting tenders for the Replacement of the Transfer Switch of CB Pavillon and related works. The distribution of the emergency electrical network of the CB and PK pavilions (part of it) is ensured by 2 generators of 800kW and 750kW located at CB-S1431 and which operate in synchronicity. The PLC has a bypass mode, which manages the transfer from the Hydro-Quebec network (called "regular") to the emergency network and the latter is at the end of its useful life. There have been repairs and maintenance over the years, but some components of this PLC are discontinued and no longer manufactured. The project consists of replacing the current PLC while keeping the same operating logic as the existing one (including 2 synchronized circuit breakers) except for the synchronicity with Hydro-Quebec. The new automaton will have to be equipped with an intelligence of control since it will have to be able to unload certain loads (according to an established order) in the event of a breakdown of one of the two existing generators. To do so, a mitigation plan will be put in place by the Contractor to avoid service failures during interventions. Work involved: 1- Test work, adjustments to the new transfer switch and other electrical components; 2- Implementation of the mitigation plan; 3- Fire protection work; 4- Control works; 5- Installation of infrastructure for load bank (outdoor cabinets on concrete slab); 6- Architectural works
