Bids properly received will be publicly opened and read at the District's Administration Building. The District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. The project work is located in Snohomish County and King County, WA.. The purpose of this project is to: oInstall approximately 63,000 linear feet of cured in place sanitary sewer and storm sewer main in sizes varying from 8-inches to 18-inches; oInstall cured in place pipe in approximately 35 sanitary sewer laterals varying in length from 5-feet to 40-feet each; oInstall chemical grout into approximately 420 lateral connections to sewer mains. Project work also includes temporary traffic control, erosion and sedimentation control, bypass pumping, site restoration, and other associated work items Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 90 days from the date of bid opening. District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water & Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price In addition to plans, specifications, addenda, and bid results will be available for download at the District It is the responsibility of the bidder using the downloaded files to obtain and acknowledge addenda as ident ified in the Contract Documents. Planholder registration information will be developed and maintained. Addendums will be issued and distributed to currently registered planholders via e-mail to the address provided by the registered planholder.
