BID SECURITY - No bid shall be received unless accompanied by a certified check or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Allouez in the amount not less than 5% of the maximum bid as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the contract, performance/payment bonds and insurance certification, as required by the contract documents, within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award. BID REJECTION - The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any information in bidding or to accept the bid or bids which best serves the interests of the Village of Allouez. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS - No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60-days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the OWNER. GOVERNING LAWS & REGULATIONS The contract letting shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 66.0901, 66.0903 and 779.16 of the Wisconsin statutes. No work shall begin prior to June 12, 2023. All work shall be completed by October 6th, 2023. The work under this contract shall consist of removing and milling asphaltic surfaces, shaping and compacting existing aggregate base, placement of base aggregate dense, repair of storm inlets, spot repair of concrete curb and gutter, driveway aprons and sidewalk, adjustment and placement of covers, asphaltic pavement and all incidentals necessary to complete the work as shown in the plans and included in this contract.
