The City of Lebanon is seeking bids for the installation and maintenance of flowers in the traffic islands around Colburn Park. Installation of matting/planting flowers/installation of mulch/maintenance of flower bed/fall cleanup of flowers/fertilizer/water: The City of Lebanon will cover the cost of the weed control matting, perennials, annuals, and mulch. The following locations shall be priced out separately as follows: Installation of matting: The matting shall be used to control weeds with the intent of minimizing weeding through the spring/summer. The cost of the matting shall be covered by the City of Lebanon. Planting of flowers: A mixture of annuals/perennials shall be planted by the contractor. The cost of the flowers shall be covered by the City of Lebanon. Installation of mulch: The cost of the mulch shall be covered by the City of Lebanon. The mulch shall be provided by the contractor from a local vendor. Maintenance of flower beds: The contractor shall monitor and remove weeds from the flower beds as necessary to keep the weeds from being noticeable to the traveling public. Fertilizer: Flower beds shall be fertilized two times per year, scheduled at appropriate times during the year Water: Water will be available to all flower beds on a timer. The contractor shall monitor the water system and notify the City of any issues. Fall cleanup of flowers: the contractor shall remove annual flowers around mid-October.
