Southampton County Public Schools intends to enter into a contract with a professional architectural and engineering firm(s) to assist with renovation and construction related projects. Engineering services may include, but are not limited to, preliminary engineering study/design, surveying, engineering design, engineering estimates, permitting, construction documents, easement documents, easement acquisition, bid phase services, construction administration and inspection, close-out documentation, quality control reviews, and construction project management. The chosen firm will be expected to manage all projects from start to finish. The selected firm will be required to adhere to all SCPS Board and ESSER policy, regulations, guidelines, and timelines. In accordance with the Code of Virginia, this contract for multiple task orders is limited as follows: 1. The term for the Agreement shall be for an initial one-year term from the date of execution. Upon mutual consent, the Division shall have the option for three additional one year periods contingent upon need and availability of funds. 2. The sum of all projects performed in a contract term shall not exceed $10 million, and the fee for any single project shall not exceed $2.5 million. Any unused amounts from the first term shall not be carried forward to the additional term (Virginia Public Procurement Act).
