Renovation of an educational facility in New York, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Queens College solicits prices from qualified NYS certified MWBE and/or SDVOB contractors to provide all materials, equipment, tools, labor, supervision and other related services required to complete the project as per attached scope of work. This opportunity is only available for NYS certified MWBE and/or SDVOB's contractors. Under the requirements of the Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA), all communications regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Designated Contact. Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the Designated Contact may constitute an "impermissible contact" under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor. Compliance with the PLA: Required Forms: Vendor shall complete, sign and submit the following forms if they are selected. "Offerer's Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law 139-j (3) and 139-j (6) (b)" "Offerer's Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k" Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 30% Location: 6530 Kissena Blvd, Flushing, NY 11367 Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None The Contractor shall perform renovations at the I Building Suite 200 as follows: 1. Remove and discard existing gypsum ceiling and ceiling grid in rooms 200 and 201. 2. Disconnect and discard fifty-two (52) exiting 6"x4' linear light fixtures from the gypsum ceiling in room 200. 3. Disconnect and discard ten (8) 2"x4' linear light fixtures in room 201 and two (2) at the entrance to Suite 200. 4. Remove and discard a total of twenty-one (21) Air Supply Diffusers from 200 and 201 5. Remove all existing raceways in Rooms 200 and 201 a total of 1,000 L.F. 6. Supply and install three (3) Titus Air Return Grilles in Room 201 7. Supply and install four (4) 24"x24" Titus Air Supply Diffusers in Room 201. 8. Adjust existing duct work to meet new air supply grilles in room 200 and entrance 9. Supply and install 2'x2' Armstrong Dune A1775 Bevel Regular hung ceiling and grid in Room 201. 10. Remove all debris from site in a daily basis. 11. Dust protection- plastic zip wall at the entrance of Room 200
