Department Contact (for Inquiries Only): Robert Dove 423-434-5826 Rdove@johnsoncitytn.org The purpose of this quote request is to establish an annual contract to furnish and/or install certified playground mulch for the City of Johnson City Parks & Recreation Department. Mulch shall be in accordance with Playground Safety Standards. The City reserves the right to choose the quote or quotess that will be in the City's best interest. Delivery/installation timeframes shall be an award consideration. Delivery shall be to multiple City locations, with each load going to ONE location only. Vendor shall specify timeframe for deliveries after order placement. This contract is for a three (3) year period subject to annual renewals provided all terms, conditions and prices remain unchanged and the vendor is in agreement. Costs shall remain firm for the contract period The City reserves the right to re-solicit at the end of any one year period. The attached Insurance Checklist (which includes a section for the Insurance agent to fill-out) and General Contract Form must be completed and returned with the bid package. Successful vendor shall provide certificate of insurance, as specified, prior to contract award. The Contractor shall be considered in default at any time this insurance is cancelled, terminated, or allowed to expire prior to completion of the contract.
