Renovation of a water / sewer project in Greenlawn, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The purpose of the project is to provide a new Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP) Treatment Facility for the removal of 1,4-dioxane from the District's existing Well No. 11 in a new building addition. The treatment facility will be located on Pulaski Road in Greenlawn, NY at the Districts existing plant site. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Greenlawn Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner
