Description

Site work for a civil project in Bridgeton, Missouri. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.

This project provides for the construction of a new culvert and/or the enhancement of existing facilities and improvements to the lower channel to increase the capacity of stormwater conveyance. The channel and banks shall be stabilized using bio stabilizations measures or other techniques as deemed appropriate. One or more grade control may be required within this reach to address headcutting based on an engineering assessment. Utilize urban forestry to restore and enhance the channel corridor. Project is included in City of Maryland Heights Fiscal Year 2025-2029. As of March 11, 2025, per owner, Phase 1 design of this project was completed in December 2024, which included survey, geotechnical investigation and preparation of a conceptual design report with analysis and presentation of various improvement alternatives; The City has reviewed the report and is considering options for moving forward with a final design that may involve phased construction. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
