All questions must be submitted no later than Tuesday 4:00 p.m., January 24, 2023. The Fayetteville Public Works Commission ("PWC") intends to install and operate multiple utility-scale ground-mounted solar photovoltaic generating facilities in Cumberland County, North Carolina. In accordance with N.C.G.S. 143-64.31, PWC is seeking to engage the services of one or more qualified engineering firm(s) to provide the following services: assistance with the selection, prioritization, and optimization of potential sites, design of generating facilities and interconnection, preparation of related studies, preparation of construction bid documents, coordination with SCADA vendor, evaluation of wetlands and other permitting assistance, and construction management. The work is anticipated to begin February 2023 and continue for at least two (2) years. Submissions in response to this RFQ should detail the submitting firms relevant experience and capabilities. Submissions must also include unit price information for the services to be provided. Interested firms possessing the necessary expertise to perform the scope of work outlined in the RFQ are encouraged to submit a Statement of Qualifications for this project according to the following requirements. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
