The University is conducting an RFP for Playground Improvements for University Family Housing. The Student Family Housing residences are comprised of two 21-story apartment-style buildings located at 30 & 35 Charles Street West, Toronto that house students and their respective family members. This RFP is for the improvement of the playground at 35 Charles Street West Family Housing. The scope of work includes: a. Protection of building, existing adjacent site elements; b. Removals, demolition & excavation; c. Installation of concrete cast in place pavement; d. Installation notched cast in place concrete curb for safety surfacing; e. Installation of plastic composite curb; f. Installation sandbox top board; g. Installation rubber surfacing; h. Installation of site furnishings, including benches and play structures; i. Others as described in the drawings & specifications. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
