SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS Island Health is seeking contractors to provide grass cutting, minor irrigation services, bed maintenance, shrub pruning and clean up services to Victoria General Hospital (VGH), Royal Jubilee Hospital (RJH), Saanich Peninsula Hospital (SPH), Queen Alexander Centre for Children's Health (QACCH) and Seven Oaks, but not limited to those sites, on the South Island. Proponents must demonstrate a proven track record in providing quality services to large institutional environments and need to possess the necessary resources, knowledge, competence and service capacity to provide the services. Island Health will maintain the option to extend for up to an additional two (2) years. Proponents may choose to respond to one or more of the requested sites. Island Health reserves the right to award one or more of the sites to one successful Proponent or to multiple successful Proponents. Proponents will be expected to provide detail on their existing capacity to provide services and demonstrate the capability to provide the services within a sustainable business model over the term of the agreement. 3. PROJECT SCOPE AND REQUIREMENTS The successful Proponent(s) will be responsible for the provision of grounds keeping services to specified Island Health sites in the South Island. The successful Proponent(s) will be expected to achieve or exceed the following requirements: A. Cut the grass at the specific locations B. Maintain the garden beds C. Prune any shrubs and or hedges D. Supply clean up services to the sites E. Provide any ideas to make the sites more maintenance friendly F.
