The intent and purpose of this Quote Request is to obtain competitive quotes and award a Purchase Order/Contract to perform video camera inspections/lateral line locates on residential sanitary sewer laterals under the Sanitary Sewer Lateral Insurance Program (SSLIP) for the City of St. Charles, Missouri on an as-needed basis (on-call). The SSLIP allows home owners to apply for City assistance after they have had problems and tried to have the line cabled clean. They may apply for the program after the cabling does not successfully clean, unclog or provide relief. The City would then receive applications and necessary background information. If the information qualifies the resident for a camera investigation, the City would then contact the Bidder to whom the Purchase Order/Contract is awarded via phone/fax and schedule the video inspection/locate. Any questions related to the IFB shall be submitted to Willie Hantack, Purchasing Manager, at william.hantack@stcharlescitymo.gov. Deadline for clarifying questions: January 18, 2023 3:00 PM The City of Saint Charles reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The City reserves the right to waive any variances from original bid specifications in cases where the variances are considered to be in the best interest of the City.
