Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Perryville, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and water / sewer project.
BID PACKAGE #1-Demolition of an existing park building and construction of a new building at the same location. The proposed structure will provide a meeting room for 30, new restrooms and storage. The area of the proposed structure is 1,585 square feet. Site work includes demolition of asphalt paved areas, minor site grading, and new paved areas or new wearing surface at existing paved areas. Minimal landscaping is included. BID PACKAGE #2-Utility upgrade applies to installation of a new package sewage treatment plant to replace the existing. All bids shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee (in the form of a bid bond or certified check) of not less than five (5%) percent of the amount of the lump sum base bid. A 100% Performance Bond and a separate 100% Payment Bond shall be furnished by the successful bidder. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instructions to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Bonds should be executed by a surety company authorized to do business by the Kentucky Secretary of State and the Kentucky Department of Insurance within the Commonwealth of Kentucky. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED AT THE SITE VISIT. ALL TECHNICAL QUESTIONS SHALL BE EMAILED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER OF RECORD FOR THIS PROJECT. The Division of Engineering and Contract Administration, Commonwealth of Kentucky, reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive all informalities and/or technicalities where the best interest of the Commonwealth may be served
