*The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: For Reconstruction of SW Huntoon Street From SW Gage Boulevard to SW Harrison Street The City of Topeka is requesting proposals from firms qualified to provide concept phase services for the improvement and reconstruction of SW Huntoon Street from SW Gage Boulevard to SW Harrison Street. The City of Topeka is requesting proposals from firms qualified to provide concept phase services for the improvement and reconstruction of SW Huntoon Street from SW Gage Boulevard to SW Harrison Street, Project T-701028.00 (the Project). In collaboration with City of Topeka Engineering staff, these services are expected to include the determination of typical roadway cross-sections and intersection improvements; identification of public and private utility conflict points and conditions; determination of construction phasing, timeframes and cost estimates; and determination of existing right-of-way and future needs. The Project will utilize the City of Topeka's Complete Street Design Guidelines as appropriate. This request for proposal is for concept phase development only. Upon completion of concept phase plans, the City will request new proposals for the remaining design work/construction services. The Project is scheduled for design to occur in 2023 and 2024 with right-of-way and utility adjustments to occur in 2024 and 2025. Construction of the Project is scheduled for 2026 through 2028.
