This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested suppliers; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified suppliers to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. In general, work under this contract consists of: 1. Abatement of asbestos and other Hazardous/Regulated Materials as described in the Contract Documents and the Hazardous Building Materials Survey report. 2. Deconstruct Building 16, backfill voids, dispose of waste, finish with topsoil and hydroseed as specified. 3. Deconstruct Building 30, except for portion of foundations indicated on drawings, dispose of waste, finish with topsoil and hydroseed in areas as specified. 4. Deconstruction will include removal and disposal of all electrical materials and equipment. 5. Construct wood framed entry structure on remaining portion of Building 30 foundations to allow access to Building 29 as specified on contract drawings. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 7 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
