The University of Northern Colorado has received funding for the roof replacement of Butler Hancock Decks 1,4,5,5a,6&7. These existing roofs at Butler Hancock Hall shall be replaced or recovered as part of this work. The new roofing shall consist of insulated adhered 60 mil EPDM systems. The new roofing will have to be covered with a roofing manufacturer's 20 year No-Dollar-Limit warrant covering material and labor in a leak free state. Alternates for 90 mil EPDM roofing are included. Provide all labor, materials and equipment required to perform all operations in connection with the 100% construction bid documents provided by RoofTech dated 1/16/2023. NOTE that each deck has distinct set of Drawings & Specifications. The Contractor shall provide the following services: 1. Mobilize to the site in a safe organized, clean, manner. Maintain safe setup and access areas throughout the project. 2. Remove the existing roofing where roof replacements are to occur. Remove the gravel surfacing and flashings where roof recover work is to take place. 3. Install the new specified roof insulation for the roof replacement and roof recover systems. 4. Install tapered insulation where indicated to create field taper, crickets and sumps. 5. Cover the foam insulation system with a high density isocyanurate foam cover board. 6. Install new 60 mil adhered EPDM roofing over the cover board. Install cured and uncured EPDM flashings. 7. Install sheet metal flashings and counterflashing as specified. Provide a 20-year written manufacturer's warranty covering material and labor in a leak free state at a no-dollar-limit. 9. The roofing work will require the lifting and resetting of small mechanical units as well as the supporting of conduit and piping. This work it to be part of the Contractor's Bid. 10. Demobilize from site and clean all affected areas.
