As of November 27th, 2023, the general contractor, McLaughlin Construction Corp. DBA Edbauer Construction is seeking qualified subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and truckers to provide us quotes for the following project; Wilson Burt Road Bridge over Eighteenmile Creek Rehabilitation to fulfill the required DBE participation goals. This project includes concrete repairs to substructure elements (piers/abutments) overhead deck repairs, concrete cleaning and sealing, paint removal and replacement. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Due date:12/29/2023 County(ies): All NYS counties Location: Wilson NY The project proposes to rehabilitate the bridge carrying Wilson Burt Road over Eighteenmile Creek (BIN 3329720). Project work involves structural concrete repairs to the abutments and piers above and below the water surface of Eighteenmile Creek. Structural steel repairs to the superstructure are also required. Additional work includes the installation of temporary cofferdams, silt fence, and turbidity curtain, miscellaneous steel painting and minor repairs to the concrete bridge deck. CR Number: 2103901 Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5% Contract term: 6 Months Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, Bid Bond, or other acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty acceptable to the County Attorney, in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid as a guaranty that, if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will file a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond acceptable to the County Attorney, and execute the Contract within ten (10) days after the award of the Contract. Note that this project has bid alternates. Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None The County of Niagara reserves the right to waive any informalities in or reject any and all bids, or to make any Contract which it deems to be in the best interest of the County.
