The Town of Norwood, MA, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from HVAC Contractors for the HVAC Replacement at Norwood Public Safety Building at 137 Nahatan St, Norwood Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Consulting Engineering Services, LLC. The Project generally consists of replacement of HVAC Rooftop units and controls throughout the building. The work is estimated to cost $3,300,000. Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 inclusive.The minimum wages to be paid for all labor on the project are established in a schedule issued by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development, in accordance with Section 26A - 27D, of Chapter 149 of the M.G.L., as amended, said schedule being made a part of the Contract Documents and is included therein. Bid Forms and Contract Documents will be available after 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 08, 2023, at the Town of Norwood Purchasing Department. As an alternative to obtaining hard copy sets of bid documents, bidders may register and download documents electronically at: https://bids.norwoodma.gov. Addenda will be sent via email to all plan holders. Documents will not beavailable via mail or shipping. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 9 AM, June 12, 2023 at the project location, Norwood Public Safety Building, 135-137 Nahatan Street, Norwood, MA. Failure of any bidder to visit the site, and to examine the Contract Documents shall in no way relieve the bidder from any obligation with regard to the bid as submitted. Sub bids will be received until 2:00 PM, June 23, 2023. General Bids will be received until 2:00 PM June 30, 2023 and publicly opened, forthwith.
