This solicitation is for the furnish and installation of a walk in cooler for The State of Louisiana, Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, located at 1025 Tom Watson Rd., Lake Charles, LA 70615. The job is to be performed in accordance with the enclosed scope of work and specifications. In accordance with La. R.S. 37.2163, anyone objecting to the above classification(s) must send a certified letter to both the Louisiana State Licensing Board for Contractors and the Office of State Procurement. The letter must be received no later than ten (10) working days prior to the day on which the bid is to be opened. For any bid submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, a bid security (insurance company, bank money order, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to "State of Louisiana - Department of Wildlife and Fisheries") must be included with the bidder's submission in the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid (including base bid and additive alternates, if any) and shall become the property of the agency in the event the contract and bond are not executed within the time set forth in the bid solicitation. Failure to do so will remove the bid from consideration
