Proposals Requested By CITY OF RENO PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT 2023 TALUS STREET AND SEWER REHABILITATION PROJECT CONTRACT Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the project consists of the rehabilitation of eight (8) streets and the replacement and relocation of select sanitary sewer mains along Talus Way, Lodestar Lane, Gypsum Road and Moraine Way. The rehabilitated streets include Talus Way, Moraine Way, Lookout Place, Tarn Way, Buckhorn Way, Lodestar Lane, and Gypsum Road. The rehabilitation shall include, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of pavement section, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, select sanitary sewer manholes and pipe, select storm drain structures and pipe, pavement striping and signage, provisions for traffic control for the duration of the project, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
