Columbia County Commissioners will receive sealed bids for Columbia County Entry Security Projects located at 35 W Main Street and 11 W Main Street Bloomsburg PA 17815 This is a single prime general contractor project but the bid is divided and is to be submitted as 2 separate projects with two separate cost and then combined for one total project cost. Contractor will be selected based on the low bidder of the combined project cost. The scope of work includes but is not limited to new enhancements at the entry of the Columbia County Annex building (Project A) as well as enhancements to the Columbia County Courthouse (Project B). Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes marked on the outside "Sealed Bid for Columbia County Entry Projects." All Bids shall remain irrevocable for a period of 90 calendar days from the date of Bid opening, or as allowed by law. Bids may be held by Columbia County for up to 90 days from the date of Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders prior to awarding the contract. Bids shall be submitted on forms provided by Columbia County in the bid packet. All drawings need to be secured from the Architect's office to be included on the email list for any future addendums. This is a Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rate project and wage determination is included in the bid packet. Bonds are required for this job. Contractors should review the insurance requirements in the bid documents. The Bidder shall include a fully completed Non-Collusion Affidavit with the bid; the form will be in the bid packet. Columbia County reserves the right to award to the lowest responsive, responsible Bidder and reject any and/or all Bids, as it may best serve the interest of the Owner. Columbia County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any irregularities, and to negotiate contract amounts.
