For Contract A - Water System Improvements Contract B - Water Storage Tank Painting The work shall generally consist of: CONTRACT "A" - WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS Demolition of the Logan Street concrete ground storage tanks, new Logan Street ground storage tank, demolition and replacement of the Hilltop Water Treatment Plant raw water ground storage tank, valve & hydrant replacements and miscellaneous electrical, controls, piping and appurtenances CONTRACT "B" - 500,000 GALLON ELEVATED WATER STORAGE TANK PAINTING Full rehabilitation of the 500,000 gallon Washington Street elevated water storage tank along with restoration of miscellaneous structural tank components ANY CONTRACT OR CONTRACTS AWARDED UNDER THIS INVITATION FOR BIDS ARE EXPECTED TO BE FUNDED IN PART BY A LOAN FROM THE ILLINOIS ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (ILLINOIS EPA).
