The project scope consists of the removal and replacement of the synthetic turf system for the Tates Creek High School Football Stadium. The project will also consist of rejuvenation of the existing track surface including events, construction of a new pole vault runway and landing area, replacement of the discus throwing pad & cage, and the installation of new sand catcher systems for the long/triple jump events. No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of bid opening. The last date for the Architect to receive items to be addressed in any addenda is February 7, 2023 by 12:00 p.m. EST. All requests must be submitted to the Architect in writing. Bids will be received from Contractors for a Total Lump Sum Amount. All phases ofthe work shall be bid to and through the Contractor submitting the proposal. Bid Security in the amount offive (5) percent ofeach proposal submitted must accompany each Proposal in accordance with the Form ofProposal. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bids received where such acceptance, rejection, or waiver is considered to be in the best interest ofthe Owner or to reject any bid where evidence or information submitted by the bidder does not satisfy the Owner that the bidder is qualified to carry out the details ofthe Contract Documents. The Owner's desire to waive irregularities and informalities as to a bid shall be reviewed and finaljudgement made prior to approval ofthe contract. Federal Wage Rates are not applicable. State Wage Rates are not applicable. Conflicts ofinterest, gratuities and kickbacks are defined in KRS 45A.445 and as provided for in KRS 45A.455 are absolutely prohibited. Preference for resident bidders shall be given as outlined in KRS 45A.90 to 45A.94. The successfill bidder must supply a 100% Performance and Payment Bond as outlined in the Project Manual.
