Renovation of a multi-residential development in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The City of Pembroke Pines is seeking proposals from qualified firms, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to Replace of all Mechanical Equipment at Pines Point Management Office, 501 NW 103 Ave Pembroke Pines 33026, In accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. This project is federally funded by the CDBG-CV1/CV3 and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and thus will follow federal procurement guidelines. This project is on a strict time frame and has to be completed by August 2023. Questions Due Date: Feb 6th 2023, 11:30 PM EST Project Timeline 60 calendar days from NTP with an estimated start date of 3/1/2023 5% Proposal Security / Bid Bond , 100% Payment and Performance Bonds Project Cost Estimate $150,000 Demolish as required to accomplish work. All required demolition shall be included in the base bid package submitted by the contractor. Contractor to remove all old mechanical equipment and properly dispose of. A/C equipment shall be Trane. Contractor shall replace like for like on all the units. New units shall be rated in accordance with AHRI standards, have proper labeling and comply with all applicable current codes. Units to be stored and handled as per manufacture's recommendations. Install (2) 6-ton Trane split systems. Install (2) 7.5-ton Trane split system. Install (1) 1.5 ton Trane split system for restroom. Install (1) 7.5 ton Trane split system for leasing office. All unit to come with condenser coil coating and UV lights. Installation consists in disconnect and reconnect ducts, electrical, drain lines and refrigeration lines. Install lock out-tags as an electrical safety precaution. Flush refrigeration with R-11 to get rid of oil and residues from the old system. Install new Thermostats. Install new stands for Air handler units. Install new stainless steel drain pans with safety switches. Contractor responsible for all finishes to include drywall, concrete repair, painting and trim work associated with their work and shall leave all work areas in the same or better condition than they were originally. Install new flow switches for the air handler units. Install new L brackets to anchor down the condensing units for hurricane protection. Flush drain lines with dry nitrogen. Deep vacuum to be performed down to 500 microns to get rid of air and humidity in the system. New Armaflex insulation where applicable. Contractor to provide full start up service in coordination with equipment manufacturer to provide complete communication with city's Trane monitoring system. Contractor to provide a full test and balance report for the building and all related equipment, at the completion of the project to assure proper system functioning. Contractor is responsible for acquiring all necessary permits for the job and required documentation for such. Contractor will not be required to pay permit fees, as this is a city project.
