The University of New Mexico (UNM) requests proposals for the purpose of selecting a minimum of three industrial hygiene (IH) consulting firms to perform work at UNMs main campus and all associated satellite campuses and off-campus properties. One contract, with multiple IH consultants, will be awarded as a result of this request for proposals. UNMs Environmental Health & Safety Department (EHS) is responsible for coordinating all IH projects and is the primary administrator of the contract with IH consultants. When IH services are needed, EHS will provide contracted IH consultants with scopes of work for each project, with the expectation that interested IH consultants will submit accurate and timely quotes for the IH projects they are able to complete. There is no guarantee of work offered as a result of being awarded a contract with UNM. UNM reserves the right to purchase IH consulting services outside of any contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
