NOTE: LOUISIANA LICENSED CONTRACTOR REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT WITH A MAJOR CLASSIFICATION AS GENERAL CONTRACTOR. BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made a part of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of 71 days. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
