**As of May 10, 2023, project was awarded to North Cascade Excavating, awarded amount is $1,810,189.19.** Work consists of constructing approximately 2,750 linear feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch and 18-inch sanitary sewer main; constructing approximately 155 linear feet of 12-inch and 18-inch storm sewer, constructing manholes; constructing storm inlets and sewer laterals; bypass pumping of the existing sanitary sewer system, making connections to the existing sewer system; removing manholes; abandoning the existing sewer system; installing and managing a dewatering system to facilitate sewer construction; clearing approximately 0.6 acres of vegetated area to facilitate sewer construction; installing sewer appurtenances to construct a fully operational system; completing maintenance improvements to an existing stormwater facility, installing approximately 1,800 square yards of a soft surface pedestrian trail; and restoring disturbed surfaces. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the District.The successful bidder shall provide executed payment and performance bond(s) for the full contract amount. The bond may be a combined payment and performance bond; or be separate payment and performance bonds. In the case of separate payment and performance bonds, each shall be for the full contract amount. On-site work for this project shall begin no earlier than June 15, 2023, unless approved otherwise by Engineer, and shall be physically completed by October 31, 2023. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
