The City of Newnan, Georgia is located 35 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta, on Interstate 85 South, and is the county seat of Coweta County, Georgia. The City desires to obtain a 'Qualified General Contractor' or 'Qualified Commercial Pool Installation Contractors' to demo and construct repairs to an existing pool deck which has settled over time. The original pool was built in 2009. This will be a time sensitive project as the City requires the pool to reopen by the 2003 pool season. The City also desires to upgrade the existing mechanical room where parts have eroded over time. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. This included a 45'x42' zero entry area, a 25'x75'x3' depth area and a 20'x22 slide area. Over time, the southwest corner of the zero-entry area has settled causing the gutter drains surrounding the pool to fail. The gutter system has since been adjusted and now functions as it should. However, the southwest corner of the zero-entry area is no longer zeroentry. Certain galvanized parts in the mechanical room have corroded over time and need replacement.
