Sealed bids will be received by the Lawrence County Board ofEducation, at the Department of Business, 14131 Market Street Moulton, AL 35650. Bids should be addressed to: Lawrence County Board ofEducation. Middle School Hallway: Remove and replace VCT tile with similar VCT tile-This will be about 1,510 sq. ft. The Board ofEducation reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and waive all formalization in bidding. It is not the policy ofthe Lawrence County Board ofEducation to purchase on the basis oflow bid alone. Quality and suitability to purpose will also be controlling factors, with the further understanding that the purchaser reserves the right to determine such quality or suitability by whatever means may be determined. Contract for purchase will be put into effect by means ofpurchase order after tabulations are compiled. All proposals shall include the cost oftransportation to the point ofdelivery as specified. In compliance with the invitation for bids and subject to all the conditions thereof, the undersigned offers and agrees to furnish any or all ofthe items/services upon which prices are quoted at the price set opposite each item for length ofcontract as specified. Items/services will be delivered within a reasonable time frame (maximum of 15 working days), or, as agreed between vendor and Lawrence County School System, Moulton, Alabama, after receipt of a purchase order (ifrequired). It is agreed that ifdelivery has not been completed by the time specified (and, no extension oftime is granted by the Lawrence County School System), the purchase order will be cancelled and award ofbid will be made to the next responsible low bidder. The Lawrence County Board ofEducation reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. The Board also reserves the option of extending any and/or all approved bids for a period ofthree (3) years, beginning with date of approval.
