Site work for a water / sewer project in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Bidder shall make positive efforts to achieve: (1) a minority employee work force hour goal of 15.30 percent, (2) a woman employee work force hour goal of 6.90 percent The scope of work includes the construction of approximately 22,700 linear feet of water mains in the Manomet section of Plymouth, including 4-inch, 6-inch, 8-inch, 10-inch and, 12-inch ductile iron pipes, valves, fittings, hydrants, and water services; tying in to existing asbestos concrete water mains and asbestos concrete pipe removal. Surface construction shall include binder course and top course asphalt paving over trench limits, sidewalk panel and curbing reconstruction at water services, curb-to-curb mill and overlay of approximately 59,800 square yards. The scope of work also includes construction zone safety and traffic management, handling and disposal of excavated materials in accordance with regulations, and coordination of work. The Town of Plymouth seeks bids for upgrading water mains and appurtenances in the Manomet Pressure Zone.
