A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Infrastructure Improvements Project Contract I - CWSRF Project No. CS010878-02 The principal items of work are detailed herein below. o Remove existing aerial 8-inch ductile iron gravity sewer main and two concrete pier supports o Install 120 LF of 8-inch ductile iron pipe encased in a 16-inch casing pipe( Labor Only). o Furnish and Install two new reinforced concrete pier supports o Provide temporary bypass pumping o Provide temporary creek, flow diversion the actual cost of printing, reproducing, handling and distribution for each set of documents. No refunds will be made except to Prime Contractor Bidders, which shall be refunded for one bid set. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond for one hundred (100%) of the bid amount and a Payment Bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the bid amount and must secure his bond from a bonding company's representative or agent in the State of Alabama. No bid may be withdrawn after the time for opening bids has passed. The Owner reserves the right to hold the bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of receiving Bids. The Contractor is hereby advised that TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE on this project and that the contract time of 60 consecutive calendar days total and noted restrictions shall be strictly observed. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES WILL BE ASSESSED IF THE CONTRACT TIME IS EXCEEDED. The Contractor may apply for an extension of time in accordance with the provisions of the contract; however, such an extension must be approved prior to the contract completion date to avoid the imposition of liquidated damages. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner. The contractor shall note that funds for this project are provided through CWSRF (Clean Water State Revolving Funds). All Applicable Federal Guidelines must be met.
