Time for Completion: The term of each contract shall be for one (1) year, with five (5) one (1) year extensions permitted by mutual agreement between the City of Milwaukee and the CONTRACTOR. The contract shall begin as soon as fully executed and shall expire on March 31, 2024. Subsequent extensions of the contract would be effective beginning on April 1 of each year. Routine maintenance cycle is not to exceed eight (8) days at any location at any time during the peak season. This may be extended to ten (10) days during periods of slow-growth, with prior approval from CITY. CITY anticipates approximately twenty-six (26) routine landscape maintenance cycles per year (season) in addition to the other services described in the bid specification document. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $400 The residency requirement for this project is 40% of all hours worked on the project. One quarter of these hours must be attributable to residents living in the following zip codes: 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53210, 53215, and 53233.
