The City of Georgetown is soliciting proposals from consulting firms experienced in infrastructure assessment of sewer pipelines and sanitary manholes. The Sanitary Sewer and Manhole Survey, Lining, and Repairs-S. Fraser Street project will be performed in two phases. PHASE I : Perform a sanitary manhole and sewer pipe condition assessment of approximately 5,337 LF of sewer mains to identify system deficiencies such as structural, operations and maintenance, infiltration and inflow (I/I) related problems, and prepare recommendations for the sewer system rehabilitation. This work is scheduled for the second half of fiscal year 22-23. PHASE II : Engineering Services during pipe and manhole rehabilitation to be performed in fiscal year 23-24 based on the recommendations from Phase I. The Project consists of providing Engineering Services for conducting Sewer System Evaluation Survey (SSES) and preparing design plans and specifications for the rehabilitation of the sewer lines on S. Fraser Street between Front and Bourne Streets in the City of Georgetown. The investigations of approximately 5,337 LF of sewer mains are intended to identify system deficiencies such as structural, operations and maintenance, and infiltration and inflow (I/I) related problems, and prepare recommendations for sewer system rehabilitation. The project is located on S. Fraser Street between Front Street and Bourne Street, Georgetown, SC.
