Collier County Sheriff Special Operations Building Elevator Repairs. Q & A deadline: Mar 03, 2023 4:00:00 PM CST 2.1 Platforms (2) o Remove existing flooring and sub-floor. o Install new 3/4 inch sub-flooring with 1/2 inch Polycarbonate and 18-gauge galvanneal on each side of Polycarbonate. o Install new waterproof vinyl flooring over sub-floors 2.2 Travel Cables (4) o Remove existing and replace with new matching cables in accordance with manufacturer's requirements and standards. 2.3 Elevator pits (2) o Scrape and remove existing painted steel pit areas. o Prepare and repaint steel pit areas in accordance with Collier County Vertical Standards. o Provide two coats of rust inhibitive primer and then two finish coats of Sherwin Williams industrial enamel, or approved equivalent, on exposed metal surfaces. 2.4 Elevator Hydraulics (2) o Replace hydraulic packings and oil for each car in accordance with manufacturer's (Thyssen Krupp) requirements and standards. 2.5 Inspect, test, and certify elevators for operation upon completion of work. Assure all testing and inspections required by local and state organizations have been performed and approved so that elevators are ready for use.
