The Board of Education of Lowville Central School District hereby invites the submission of proposals for the following service contract: Trash & Recyclable Removal Contract (7/1/2023 6/30/2024) Contract Specifications: The vendor must provide 2- 10 yard dumpsters for the Main School and two 90 gallon containers for the Bus Garage. The district will provide one 21 yd. 3 bin roll off recyclable container. All pricing should be itemized on a per trip per container basis. Required Services: The Main School dumpsters must be picked up Monday and Thursday each week before 7:00 a.m. during the school year (September through June). During July and August, the pickups shall be upon demand. School owned recyclable container must be emptied upon demand. Bus Garage containers must be emptied once per week. Additional dumpsters for special events must be supplied upon request at a guaranteed price per unit for the term of the agreement. Container maintenance shall be the responsibility of the vendor. This contract may be extended for 2 additional years if agreed upon by both parties. All proposals should list support vehicles in your fleet. The district must be listed on your insurance as an additional insured, and a copy of such insurance certificate must be supplied. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any formality in or to reject any or all proposals.
