Appalachian District Health Department dba AppHealthCare is issuing this request for bids for a cleaning contractor to provide services to Ashe County Health Department, Ashe County Dental Office, Ashe County Environmental Health Office, Central Billing Office, and Alleghany County Health Department. Requirements for bidders: The selected cleaning contractor shall provide references and proof of insurance. The locations and schedule for services needed is as follows: Alleghany County Health Department 157 Health Department Rd. Sparta, NC 28675: The clinic areas, including the patient waiting room, shall be cleaned twice per week. The Business Office hallway and Environmental Health office, once per week. Ashe County Health Department *TBD All areas shall be cleaned twice per week. Ashe County Dental Clinic 225 Court Street Jefferson, NC 28640: All areas shall be cleaned twice per week. Ashe County Family Central Environmental Health & Central Billing Offices 626 Ashe Central School Rd, Jefferson, NC 28640 All areas cleaned once per week *Ashe County Health Department is currently under construction for repairs and will be temporarily relocated. The new location will be announced. The required routine for each office shall be disclosed and broken down as to what is to be done weekly, monthly, bi-annually, and annually at each location. The agreement will be awarded on a fixed-price basis. The executed final agreement for the scope of work shall be for this project only and is not "open ended". Timeline of selection: Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 - AppHealthCare will post the request for proposals on their website and send it to local newspapers. AppHealthCare will begin accepting proposals and questions at this time. Wednesday, February 1st, 2023 - All questions from contractors regarding bids are due.
