The Kenton County Airport Board (KCAB) is soliciting bids for Overhead Door Replacement at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG). Q&A Deadline 02/06/2023 5:00 PM (EST) A.5.1 Door Specifications o 3 ply material panels o 4 windows/screens - not a full vision section o Strapped wind bars (interior & exterior) - not built into door due to wind extremes o Slanted hood o Door counterbalance system o Variable speed AC drive motor with brake and absolute encoder o Motion detector - exterior activation o Loop detector - exterior loop o One set of thru-beam photo-eyes - interior activation o In guide safety eyes for door protection o Wireless safety edge in bottom bar o Wireless break-away bottom bar - no plastic tabs; doors mounted on exterior of building o Motor heater o Overhead Door #1 dimensions - 14'11" x 8'1" o Overhead Door #2 dimensions - 18'0" x 8'7" A.5.2 Installation Bidder will be responsible for all aspects (mechanical & electrical) of installing new doors. KCAB staff will remove existing doors. A.5.3 Freight and Delivery Freight cost must be included in price. FOB 3087A Terminal Drive, Hebron, KY 41048. A.5.4 Contractor shall ensure that all work conforms to all state and federal regulations, KCAB rules and regulations, state and local building codes, and all applicable regulations or standards. Contractor is responsible for all required permits and inspections.
