The work covered by the Contract Documents includes the following: Cleaning and painting of the 300,000 Gallon Wildcat Elevated Water Storage Tank located at 3750 East Main Street, Williamsburg, Ohio and 200,000 Gallon 8th Street Elevated Water Storage Tank located at 203 North Eighth Street, Williamsburg, Ohio, along with miscellaneous tank repairs and alterations together with the necessary appertaining work. Each bidder is required to furnish with his bid a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the Sate of Ohio to provide said surety Each bid must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the bid and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of the project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. BIDDERS must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Clermont County and the Village of Williamsburg, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration, (614) 644-2239. Attention to the BIDDERS is called to the Instructions to Bidders and Scope of Bids, which are included in the proposed Contract Documents. Proposals Bid Forms found in the Contract Documents shall be completed and properly executed when submitting the Bid. The Village of Williamsburg reserves the right to reject any and all Bids or to increase or decrease or omit any item or items and/or award to the lowest responsive and responsible BIDDER.
