The Housing Authority of the City of Decatur, GA will receive bids for the Village at Legacy - Phase I project. The work will include Demolition, New Construction of Seven Residential Buildings - Sixty-Six Units, Community Resource Center, and site amenities. If your bid is not received by 1:00pm, your bid will not be accepted. Please allow plenty of time for traffic. Faxed Proposals are not acceptable. DHA recommends all interested General Contractors to attend a Pre-Proposal Conference meeting to familiarize themselves with the existing conditions, demolition, construction plan, City of Decatur requirements, Department of Community Affairs requirements, Davis Bacon, and more. RFI will be accepted until Wednesday, February 22, 2023, until 5:pm EST. Contractor shall be licensed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Proof of licensure will be required on the outside of the Bid Envelope before bid will be considered. Subcontractors whose contracts exceed $50,000.00 must also be licensed according to the State of Georgia Law and show proof thereof. Additional sustainable construction qualification information will be requested of the bidders. Detailed requirements will be outlined in the bid package. Multi-family Rehabilitation and Sustainable construction project experience will be requested from the bidders and considered with the bids. The Housing Authority of the City of Decatur, GA, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the proposals. No proposals may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of the proposal without the consent of the Housing Authority. The Firms submitting proposals or being considered for this project shall be licensed to perform such work by the State of GA in which the work is to be performed and shall submit evidence of such license before his/her proposal may be opened or considered.
