A Physical Security Threat Risk Assessment (TRA or STRA) is a foundational component to any corporate security program. It is the critical starting point to evaluate threats and risks to people, assets, and information. From the assessment a company can layer security policies, processes, and physical security infrastructure to address the identified risks with effective security solutions in a systematic and cost-effective manner. A Threat and Risk Assessment (TRA) was carried on the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) and recommendations were made. It was recommended that the OEB install two (2) cameras, looking at each other on the 24th, 26th & 27th elevator lobbies to monitor suspicious activity. Install internal cameras covering emergency stairwell doors on the 24th, 26th & 27th floors.
