The purpose of the meeting is to familiarize bidders with the scope of work and answer questions regarding the bid documents. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, certified check of the bidder, or a bid bond as in the contract documents. The bid bond must be duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company approved by the Owner, in the amount of 5% of each bid. Such cash, checks or bid bond will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within three (3) days after the opening of bids, and the remaining cash, checks or bid bonds will be returned promptly after the Owner and the accepted bidder have executed the contract, or, if no award has been made within sixty (60) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder at any time thereafter, so long as he/she has not been notified of the acceptance of his/her bid.100% Performance Bond and 100% Labor and Material men's Payment Bond are required paid by the Contractor. Ninety (90) consecutive calendar days. Bidder understands that the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding. The Bidder agrees that this bid shall be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids. Upon receipt of a written notice of the acceptance of this bid, Bidder will execute the formal contract attached within ten (10) days and deliver a Surety Bond or Bonds as required herein.
