Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Summit, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
**As of April 6, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $534,122.30** The following are the major items of the project: Base Bid Item 14 HMA Milling, 2 or Less 10,200 Sy Base Bid Item 16 H.m.a. 9.5m64 Surface Course, 2 Thick 1,600 Tons Base Bid Item 19 Granite Block Curb 2,600 Lf A Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000, in the form of a bid bond, certified check or cashier's check, made payable to the City of Summit. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of any and all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and requirements, including but not limited to: N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq. (Prevailing Wage Act); N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 (Statement of Ownership Disclosure); N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 (Affirmative Action); N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 (Business Registration), and the Citys adopted minimum standard insurance requirements. The Common Council reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals, waive any minor defects, and consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt pursuant to the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. No charge shall be made or recovery had for publishing any official advertising unaccompanied by such statement of price. All work must be completed by August 31, 2023.
