Site work and paving for a road / highway in Middleton, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Town of Middleton Road Rehabilitation Betsy Lane, Cherry Wood Lane, Valley View Road In general, the work consists of pulverizing the existing pavement, undercutting areas of poor subgrade, repaving the mainline road, and restoration of driveway aprons and shoulders to match the new road profile. The project areas included in the project are the full lengths of Betsy Lane, Cherry Wood Lane, and Valley View Road from Mound View Road to Meadow Road. The overall rehabilitation work includes the following approximate quantities: 15,370 SY asphalt pulverization, 3,650 tons of hot mix asphalt, removal and replacement of concrete and asphalt driveway aprons, installation of 12,290 lineal feet of gravel shoulders, restoration of the work area, and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the Contract Documents. Bid Bond equal to five percent (5%) of the Bid payable to the OWNER. The CONTRACTOR shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rate as established by law. The Town of Middleton reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 60.47, 66.0901 and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes. Vierbicher Associates, Inc.
