Tentatively John R. Jurgensen Co. will be awarded the project for ’23 Green Township Street Rehab. It should be official after the Green Township meeting on Monday, February 27, 2023 . The engineer's estimate is $1,369,419.00. Furnishing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for Green Township 2023 Street Rehabilitation Contract. The contract consists of 7 streets with a total length of 2.444 miles. All work is to conform to current State of Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Materials Specifications with supplements and changes thereto. Each proposal must be accompanied by a hundred percent bid guarantee bond or a certified check, cashiers check or letter of credit on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten percent of the bid, conditioned that the bidder shall, if his bid is accepted, execute a contract in conformity to the invitation and his bid. Bidders must use the printed forms provided. The bidder to whom the contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Corporate Surety Company Bond in a sum equal to one hundred percent of the total bid price, conditioned according to the law. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governors Executive Order of 1972, and Governors Executive Order 84-9 shall be required.
