The intent of this solicitation and resulting agreement is to obtain the services of a qualified contractor for elevator inspection and plan review services in accordance with Virginia Construction Code (VCC) and Virginia Maintenance Code (VMC). These services include review of plans for the installation of new equipment, replacement and modernization, inspection of newly installed or altered equipment (i.e. elevators, moving walks, dumbwaiters, etc.), recurring inspections of covered equipment, and investigating complaints and/or accidents related to existing equipment. Arlington County reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, cancel this solicitation, and waive any informalities as defined in the Arlington County Purchasing Resolution
