(the Commission) is soliciting from Professional Engineering firms that have expertise in the principles and practices of Civil Engineering as applied to the planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance, and operation of large dams to provide the Services for Commission-owned dams. The Selected Respondent shall be a professional engineering firm, licensed in the State of New Jersey, experienced in dam-related engineering services associated with large High Hazard Class I dams, including but not limited to, inspections, hydrologic and hydraulic studies, stability analysis of dams, dam-related monitoring and instrumentation, and foundation drain operation and maintenance. Respondents shall demonstrate that they have the continuing capability to perform these services. In addition, the Respondent must own and maintain a local office within 100 miles of the Commission. RFP responses should be submitted via certified mail or overnight delivery, and shall indicate that a proposal is contained therein. Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. If awarded a contract your company/firm will be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Bidders are required to comply with all state laws and regulations concerning public contracting, including but not limited to the New Jersey Local Public Contract Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.). The Commission reserves the right, in accordance with applicable law, to reject any or all proposals and waive any irregularities in the proposal process. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
