As of 02/08/2023 Estimated cost of $15,000,000 to $21,000,000. The scope of Work contemplated for the abovenamed Project includes the construction of a new Fire Department Head Quarters Facility Lot 1, Block 608 on Memorial Drive. All Work on this Contract shall be completed within Five-Hundred Forty-Eight (548) Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed. Bidders interested in obtaining hard copies of the documents in person from the office must make an appointment with Shore Point Architecture, PA. Bidders will be furnished with a hard copy of the Contract Documents upon proper notice and payment of a non-refundable charge of Two-Hundred Dollars ($200.00) payable to "Shore Point Architecture, PA" at the offices of Shore Point Architecture, PA to defray the cost thereof. Bidders requesting hard copies must allow 24 hours for printing of documents after requesting same. All questions shall be submitted via email to INFO@shorepointarch.com. Also, Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of "The City of Asbury Park" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of this Project is required. Please be advised that this Project is being funded by The City of Asbury Park. By virtue of Executive Order #34 (1976), vendors currently suspended, debarred or disqualified are excluded from participating on this Project. The successful Bidder shall be required to comply with the applicable statutory requirements of the Contract Documents and Plans which include all of the following: (i) N.J.A.C. 17:27; (ii) N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; (iii) Business Registrations (N.J.S.A. 52:32-44); (iv) Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25, et seq.); (v) Public Work Contractor Registration (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48); and (vi) Affirmative Action Requirements (N.J.S.A. 10:5-1, et seq.); and any other legal requirements applicable to this Project. The City of Asbury Park intends to award this Project to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder in accordance with applicable law. The City of Asbury Park reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law.
