The Clark County Commissioners will receive sealed Bids for the Memphis Blue Lick repaving project. Each Bid should be placed in an enveloped labeled, "Memphis Blue Lick Road Repaving Project" located in the lower left corner of the sealed envelope. The name and address of the company submitting the bid should also be placed on the cover of the sealed envelope. A "Bid Proposal Summary Page" should accompany each bid and should be completed as a part of the Bid submittal. Also, a Contractor's Bid for Public Work - Form 96 must be completed and submitted with the bid submittal. Clark County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any Bid which it deems advantageous. All Bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the time set for receiving bids. Each Bid should include a certificate of Liability Insurance and a complete "Non-Collusion Affidavit" form. The Project shall begin at the intersection of the 1-65 southbound exit ramp and Memphis Blue Lick Road and extend approximately 2.2 miles along Memphis Blue Lick Road to the intersection of Memphis Blue lick and Champions Point Parkway. The road varies in width from 20 to over 30 feet in width. In addition, several areas along the existing roadway will need to be excavated and replaced with full-depth pavement (up to 21% of the overall project). Full depth pavement shall consist of excavating the existing road and road bed and installing 9-inches of compacted 53-stone; 3- inches HMA Base material; and 2-inches HMA surface material. Approximate areas for full depth asphalt are marked and indicated on the project mapping. A 10-foot milled strip at all side road intersections and at the ends of the project shall be included in the project. These milled strips are used to transition to the existing paving. A double yellow centerline shall be installed along the entire length of the project.
