Emails must include the following in the Subject Line: Request for Information Ragsdale High School Ballfield Lighting Bid A brief description of work in the project follows: Demolish and replace the existing ballfield lighting and electrical distribution systems. Receive, inspect and unload owner furnished sports lighting system and sectional poles. Install new poles and lighting system, provide new electrical service and electrical distribution to new lighting system. All work under this contract is to be included in a Single Prime contract to the successful bidder. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes Minority businesses are encouraged to submit bids for this project. The appropriate forms from the section entitled "Participation by Women and Minority Owned Businesses" must be submitted with each bid to show good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation. The Board of Education awards public contracts without regard to race, religion, color, creed, national origin, sex, age or handicapped condition as defined by North Carolina General Statutes, Section 168A3. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids presented and to waive any informalities and irregularities. Plans, specifications, and contract documents will be available in electronic PDF format beginning Monday January 30, 2023 for inspection free of charge through a Dropbox link that will be furnished to qualified Bidders on written request.
